So a few hours later we retain:

• Only 60%, when we only hear (audio);

• When we only see, 75% (image, photo);

• When we see and hear, 90% (full video – image and audio).

 

The variation continues after a few days.

• Only 10% retain, when we only listen (audio);

• By vision 30%, when we only see (image, photo);

• Using the vision and hearing set, 60% (full video – image and audio). 

 

Our five senses contribute differently to the formation of our knowledge.

• When we eat — Taste 1%. 

• When playing — Touch 2%.

• Smelling a smell — Smell 3%.

• Hearing a sound — Hearing 11%.

• Seeing or watching something — 83% view. 

 

It is better to see and hear than to read.
